Tim got tickets from a friend for the B'Inside: A Better Life House exhibit at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park Warehouses - a display of American and local Taiwanese popular music throughout the years, along with some art installations. While a bit small, the exhibit as a whole was incredibly well thought out and put together in this old warehouse space!

Yup. 1D and Frozen

They even had a coffee shop that you could get your caffeine fix while perusing their reading material laid out throughout the exhibit!

At the exit, they had a balloon dispensing machine that let you choose the emotion printed on the side of the balloon, and would inflate them on demand.

This is kind of cringeworthy, but is kind of scattered throughout Taipei with the various exhibits put on by this group...

The beginning of the disappearance of Taipei 101

After spending the afternoon catching up and just getting some rest after 6 jam packed days, we went out for a nice dinner at a Japanese Teppanyaki / Fusion restaurant. The pictures to come should not be viewed if you are hungry - We are not responsible for your actions after viewing these photographs - especially if you are hungry.

Truffle & Mushroom Salad

As we had our soup and salad, we watched our chef prepare a duck breast - from time to time, he would pour a liquid onto the grill - sometimes to clean it, and sometimes to make a sauce, and it would look like he was waterbending.

Alex's and my own "rock and roll" a salad where you would pour the dressing and the little bits of cheese into the jar and shake it.

After a very rich and heavy dinner, we walked back home through the Sonshang Creative and Culture Center

The Eslite Bookstore and the old smoke factory by night

One of our uncle's favorite spots, which juxtaposes the old style housing in front of this lake with the new high rises!
