20150903 | Taiwan Day 13 - Northeastern Mountains and Coast

Today was a heavy driving day - we drove up into the northeastern mountains and stopped at one of the mining towns, and then down part of the northeastern coast into Yilan County and then back into Taipei.

This is the turtle rock - it is a military site that is apparently being opened up to the public.

We continued to drive down the northeastern coast toward Yilan County.  We looked up a random restaurant from the maps.me database and stumbled upon this restaurant - It had a sign on the door that said by reservation only, but we managed to get lunch!  The fish was quite good and fresh (the town being on the coast), and we made quick work of the food!
