Most of these are from the first night, as I was a little too close to the center to get a good angle the second night... For those of you who are interested, I shot primarily with a Nikkor (Nikon) 105mm f/2.5 AI and a Nikkor (Nikon) 135mm f/2.8 AI Although they are mostly portrait lenses, they are blazing fast (for most of today's f/3.5 lenses) and the 105mm is one of my favorite lenses! :]
All of the photos posted are the ones that actually came out SHARP. The one trade off with a fast lens is the shallow depth of field, which, in some cases is a blessing, but in this case, made it more difficult to pull focus and hold it while people moved across the stage.
