Tuna Melt
we also got the Veggie Burrito, which is absolutely amazing, despite the "veggie" distinction, and the tamale plate. Their salsa is really unique, in a really really good way!

the table next to us had plenty of left over food... which the birds promptly ate! O=

There was an antique book store (and used book store) next door, and they had this bookshelf in their driveway... the colors made this and the next picture one of my all time favorites!

The way the books and the colors just come together make this one one of my favorites!

these books were on the arm of a chair... I didn't realize the huge difference in depth of field, and didn't close the aperture down a bit, so the edges of the books in the middle are sadly slightly out of focus... but I like this picture all the same!

a much more modern wall next door

we then proceeded to drive through the UCSD campus, then make our way up to Del Mar just for the fun of it, just like we were tourists! fun!
this is where the tracks cross the street from being along the coast to much more inland... and then it'll slowly wander back out a little ways down the road!
