Tiffany was shooting all day at Old Poway Park, and I joined her near the end after I dropped my brother off :P

I was mostly helping her hold her reflector, but I also took a few of my own...




I really liked how this one turned out :]

2011.12.20 | Future of Forestry Advent Tour @ Moniker Warehouse

We went to see Future of Forestry's Advent tour, and it was amazing!

They were at this placed called the Moniker Warehouse in East Village (east bound of downtown)... the outside was quite sketch, but it was REALLY nice once we got inside!

Went with brother to old town for Spanish extra credit...

his teacher told the class that it was going to be on Saturday, but when we got there, we realized that it was going to be on Sunday... but we walked around and took some pictures anyway... We took Tiffany with us because I was working all day on a math portfolio with her...

2011.10.28 | CBC + Harvest Joint Praise Night

I don't have much to say about this post, other than that we had to bring ALL of our own gear, which included a mixer from West, speakers from Main, all personal instruments, two projectors, two projector screens, various microphones, various cables, and completely set them up in ~1.5hrs. (systems that were not meant to go together... i.e., DI boxes had to be used to get the mixer --> speakers ._.)

We took our senior group pictures today! Jeff, Michael, and I stared (as well as we could with our sunglasses), at the camera with our arms crossed for ALL of the poses haha fun :]

Here are the pictures for MMHS's homecoming!

I know the lighting is a bit harsh for some of these, and some weird shadows, but I was making do with the fleeting light, with no assistant :P (meaning i had my flash on my camera bag on the ground), but I was pretty happy with the results overall... one note though, they get better later on.

We had our annual senior appreciation for our high school seniors who will be going to college this fall yesterday. The turnout was pretty good, after a full week for work on decorations, food, and other planning! Here are the pictures. Like the past few events I've done at church, the pictures only come from group picture on, as I spent most of the night in the soundbooth!

I took my mom to the Pannikin in La Jolla today! wonderful little place, with always amazing food!

we also got the Veggie Burrito, which is absolutely amazing, despite the "veggie" distinction, and the tamale plate. Their salsa is really unique, in a really really good way!

2011.08.04 | Downtown SD at Dawn

I got up at 3:30AM this morning to take my aunt to the airport, so I figured since I was there already, might as well make good use of the gas spent getting downtown, so I stuck around and took some pictures around dawn! It was SO amazing! Tiffany was supposed to come with me, but plans kinda fell through on my side, and I couldn't take her with me... Instead Cindy drove up to keep my brother and me company :D



We headed down to the embarcadero first... reasonably close to the airport...

I like this first one the most!

helped tiffany a bit a while back with her AP photo stuff... pics aren't the best... The D200 doesn't have very good low light performance, so I had to shoot lower ISO, leading to slight blur for some pics... but here they are :P
