sky?

I realized that it has been seemingly forever since I posted a picture of the sky... This isn't too special... not exactly the sharpest either, but the beautiful skies are once again returning after a summer of gray skies... :]

Today really didn't feel like a saturday...

but... I went to school early in the morning to work with the team a little bit, almost running down a few kids who were holding signs for a 2013 rummage sale fundraiser... seriously, what were they thinking... standing in the middle of the driveway into the parking lot...


After robotics, went down to Point Loma to attempt to catch the airshow for the 100years of naval aviation, so I decided to pick up Phil's along the way... 3 beef ribs + coleslaw / potato salad + their amazing onion rings :]

The onion rings were amazing... especially when I was stuck in traffic...

we attempted to get onto Shelter Island, and we got onto the peninsula (oh the irony), and traffic wasn't too bad on the island, but there was NO HOPE of finding a "legal" parking spot, so I went up higher into the residential area of Point Loma, and just parked with the back of the car facing the bay... the view was pretty good... except we couldn't see the happenings on the water...

foood... om... nom... nom?

since we had the day off from school and mom didn't have to work, I drove up to Julian for a couple of hours... here are some pictures... as well as from fellowship later that night...

La Jolla Shores / Scripps Pier

I was planning on heading out to LJ shores to shoot the week before... but for some reason it rained. no. poured. so it was postponed indefinitely... lucky for me there wasn't a lot of homework so I went out with my brother for a couple of hours...

hehe he's getting so old now!

alright going to send the 35m f/1.8 back for service... it's been acting up... noisy focus and the manual focus takeover stopped working for some reason... first time it's happened ever... we'll see how that goes? :D
