d300s?

woahhhh... the d300s came out... not that it means much to many of you readers, but... OMGAHHH!!!

Improvements over the d300?
Dual Card Slots: CF & SD (why not dual CF? bahh) perfect for shooting RAW though... CF cards are less expensive, 8gb CF, 4gb SD, raw + jpg! yayz!!!
Video Recording Mode: Useless. Videos are meant to be recorded with a VIDEO camera
Dedicated INFO Button: ooh! Full one handed operation
No card door lock lever: whyyy???
Body: same as d300 w/ addition of extra buttons, seemingly better multi-selector, lack of card door lock, and three holes for the mic for video (which I still think is useless and just another gimmick)

Price: ~$1799 - waaay out of my budget...

We went out for a while today... first stop? Seaport Village. Reason? Bathroom break haha

We went to Gaslamp next... nothing much... just walked around a bit... ooh! the Old Spaghetti Factory in Downtown reopened! Prices are same as the one in San Marcos (still within the reasonable range). We went inside for a few minutes to look around. It was nothing like the old place... they got rid of the trolley in the middle! D= how could they! evill!!

This was just a menu holder I saw along the way... thought it was kinda cool so just snapped a pic

After crossing the street, my dad pointed down and was like hey look! so I just stuck my camera down and snapped a pic without looking.

We were on the way looking for what to eat... This was taken turning onto Linda Vista Blvd from Mesa College (out of the right side car window)

On the way back to MM on the 15N (Still couldnt decide what to eat). Taken out of the left of a dirty front windshield from passenger seat.

After food. In the end, we just decided to go to Rubios in MM. RYANNNN!!! GREG KEPT STARING AT US!!! (so I gave him a <3, and sign

countdown to retreat!!!

Soo... there are just two more days (and a few hours?) until our annual family retreat at CCCC. Let's look back at last year! =]
